How To Restore Windows Photo Viewer In Windows 10

   The process of restoring Windows Photo Viewer is different if you upgraded to Windows 10 or did a clean installation.

   

   Restore Windows Photo Viewer From An Upgrade

   1) Click on Start button

   

   2) Click on Settings

   3) Click on System 

   4) Click on default apps 

   5) Choose Photo Viewer

   6) Choose Windows Photo Viewer from menu to be your default app when opening photos

   Restore Windows Photo Viewer From A Clean Installation

   1) Download and Extract Restore Windows photo viewer zip file 

   2) Double click on the downloaded file to add it to registry

   3) If prompted click on RUN, Yes to (UAC), Yes and OK to any warnings to approve the merge 

   4) Delete downloaded zip file 

   5) Set Windows Photo Viewer as default as mentioned above
