How To Do Face Swapping In Adobe Photoshop CS6





  Swapping faces or heads is perhaps what Photoshop is most commonly used for.There are many ways to replace a face in Photoshop but one of the quickest and most effective techniques is to use the Auto Blend Layers option in the Edit menu.Auto Blend Layers will not only seamlessly and effortlessly blend a face to a body, but it will match the skin tone as well with very little work.



   Face Swapping Steps 

   1) Open the image which you are wishing to face swap 

   2) Right click on image and select Duplicate layer, Click OK

   3) Open the image you will cut

   4) Select Polygonal Lasso tool, to cut face

   5) From Edit on menu bar, select Copy

   6) Go to the other photo 

   7) From Edit, select Paste 

   8) Now set the opacity to below 50%

   9) Press CTRL + T, to adjust face until it perfectly matches  ( use Free Transform to resize it)

  10) Press Enter

  11) Uncheck eye (Visibility) of background image 

  12) Go to layer 1, Right click image, Select Pixels 

  13) Go to Modify on menu bar, Select Contract, Choose around 5 pixels, then click OK

  14) Uncheck eye beside layer 1

  15) Click on background copy image, press on Backspace or in some cases Press Del 

  16) Check visibility eye again beside layer 1

  17) Press CTRL + D 

  18) Select layer 1

  19) Press CTRL + background copy image, to select both images layer 1 and background copy image 

  20) Go to Edit, Choose Auto blind layer

  21) Make sure Panorama is selected , and samples tones and colors 

  22) Press OK
