How To Download & Install Latest Version Of Android On Virtualbox




Installing Android on your computer allows you to download and use all games and applications in the google app store to use it on your PC or Mac.



First you need to download and save Andriod file on your computer. It is on the form of an ISO image.

After you finish downloading and saving file, you need to open Oracle virtualbox to start installing Android.

Open Virtualbox, follow these steps to install Application 

1) Click on New 

2) Give it any name you choose 

3) Choose Type: Linux,   Version: Other Linux

4) Click on Next

5) Memory size, here if you have more than 2 GB of RAM in your computer choose 1024 MB, If you have less than 2GB of RAM then choose 512 MB

6) Click on Next

7) Click Create 

8) Click Next

9) Click Next

10) In File Location and Size, choose the virtual hard drive size . You can choose the maximum 2TB or you can set it to 30GB or above, so you can have enough space which allows you to download and install applications from app store.

11) Click Create

12) Click on Start

13) Choose Android ISO file which you downloaded 

14) Click Open

15) Click Start

16) Now choose the last choice, Installation- Install Android -x86 to hard disk then press Enter

17) Choose Create/Modify Partitions

18) Press OK

19) Choose New then Press Enter

20) Choose Primary then Press Enter

21) Press Enter

22) Choose Write, Press Enter

23) Type YES

24) Choose Quit 

25) Choose First option 

26) Choose EXT3, click OK

27) Click YES

28) Now wait while it finishes formatting partition

29) When it gives you " Do you want to install boot loader" choose YES then press Enter

30) Press Yes 

31) Now it will begin installing Android on Virtualbox, wait till it finishes

32) Now go up to Devices on virtualbox then choose CD/DVD Devices, choose Remove disk from virtualbox ( This for when you boot next time it won't boot from virtual CD/DVD) Click on Force Unmount

33) Choose Reboot then OK

34) Now it will reboot 

35) After it reboots choose first option, press Enter

36) To use mouse inside virtualbox, go up to Machine then choose Disable mouse integration.

37) Next you setup Android just like you do if you have a tablet, enter your Google account to be able to use Google apps.
